JACKSONVILLE, Ill. -- The Eureka College track & field team opened up the second season under head coach Bisrat Kidane, kicking off the 2015 indoor schedule as a participant at the Jim Green Invitational inside King Fieldhouse in Jacksonville, Ill. Freshman Cooper Elam (Farmington, Ill./Farmington Central) set the school record in the pole vault, recording a height of 4.00 meters (13.12 ft), placing him 8th place in the men's pole vault.
